ModelLight AB was founded by Marcus and Malin Odell and is a Swedish company with over 20 years of experience in LED light therapy (LLLT/photobiomodulation). We sell products for humans, horses and dogs.

2. Scope
These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through ModelLight's online store at www.modellight.se. By completing a purchase, you accept these terms. The terms apply to consumers (private individuals). Business transactions are governed by separate agreements.

3. Products and prices
All prices on modellight.se are inclusive of VAT. Prices in other currencies are indicative and based on current exchange rates — the final price at checkout may differ slightly. ModelLight reserves the right to correct any errors in pricing or product information. Discounted items are available while stocks last, unless otherwise stated. Colour representation on screen may differ from reality depending on your display settings.

4. Order and order confirmation
A binding purchase is made when you have completed checkout and received an order confirmation by email. Please check that the details in the order confirmation are correct and contact us immediately if anything is wrong.

5. Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (e.g. card, Klarna). Payment is made at the time of ordering unless otherwise stated. All card payments are processed using secure encryption (SSL/TLS).

6. Delivery and shipping
Shipping costs and delivery times are shown at checkout and in our shipping policy. We deliver to Sweden and a large number of countries. For international deliveries, customs duties and import fees may apply — these are the responsibility of the recipient. ModelLight is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities or events beyond our control.

7. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. This is known as the withdrawal period and is governed by EU consumer protection rules.

How to exercise your right of withdrawal

You can exercise your right of withdrawal in three ways:

  2. By email to info@modellight.se with your name, order number and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.
  3. Via the standard withdrawal form provided by your national consumer protection authority.

Return conditions

  • The item must be returned within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal.
  • The item must be in substantially unchanged condition and in its original packaging.
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.
  • If the value of the item has decreased due to handling beyond what is necessary to assess its characteristics, we may deduct an amount corresponding to the reduction in value.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Items sealed for hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken.
  • Items that are custom-made or tailored to your specifications.
  • Digital content that has been delivered and where you have consented to immediate delivery.

8. EU withdrawal button (EU Directive 2023/2673)
From 19 June 2026, EU Directive 2023/2673 requires all online retailers selling to EU consumers to provide a clearly visible electronic withdrawal function. ModelLight fulfils this requirement through our digital withdrawal page:

The form is accessible without login, requires your name and order number, and you will receive an automatic confirmation by email in accordance with the requirements of the directive.

9. Complaints and warranty
All products are covered by the statutory right to complain for 3 years. You have the right to make a complaint about defects that existed at the time of delivery. Please contact us as soon as possible after discovering the defect, and no later than 2 months after discovery.

For approved complaints, we will remedy the defect through repair, replacement or refund. We cover return shipping costs for complaints.

Contact us at info@modellight.se with your order number and a description (photos welcome) of the defect.

10. Returns and refunds
Refunds for approved withdrawals or complaints will be issued within 14 days of receiving the return or confirming the case. Refunds are made via the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

11. Personal data
ModelLight AB processes your personal data in accordance with the GDPR and our privacy policy. Your data is used to process your order and provide you with the best possible service. We do not share your data with third parties beyond what is required to fulfil the purchase (e.g. carriers, payment services).

12. Age
You must be at least 18 years old to shop on modellight.se.

13. Force majeure
ModelLight is not liable for events beyond our control that prevent or significantly impede fulfilment of the agreement, such as strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, import bans or serious disruptions at suppliers. If force majeure continues for more than 2 months, both parties have the right to terminate the agreement without liability for damages.
